To kick off 2026, we are bringing the a11yTO community together for a relaxed, in person evening focused on connection, reflection, and conversation.

Join us upstairs at the Firkin on Yonge for a casual social where there is no formal presentation, no slides, and no pressure. This is simply time to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people, and share experiences from the past year.

As part of the evening, we will invite anyone who is interested to take part in short, opt in mini lightning prompts. These are three minute moments to reflect and share, if you want to. For this first meetup of the year, the focus will be on looking back at 2025, what worked in your accessibility journey, and what did not.

You might share one accessibility win from 2025 that truly made a difference, or one thing that did not work and what it taught you. Whether you are new to accessibility or have been working in the space for years, every perspective is welcome.

There is no need to prepare anything in advance. Listening is just as valuable as sharing. The goal is to create a space that feels open, honest, and supportive as we start a new year together.
